Loading...Excursion to Valaam begins in Petrozavodsk or in St. Petersburg in the early morning. Time of departure from the cities-approximately at 06.00 from the place specified by you. Then transfer to Sortavala. Along the way, short stops are made in Priozersk to inspect the fortress of Korela, as well as in the village of Landenpohya, where the Lutheran Church is located and there is an interesting fish shop. From Petrozavodsk there are also a number of interesting places to stop. Lunch on the way by yourself (time for lunch is planned). The approximate time of the entire excursion to Valaam is about 15-16 hours. This program we organize only individually and for ready-made groups!

Please note that there may be delays during the tour to Valaam. Please have at least 3 hours in reserve before the train or plane (if you leave on the same day). Shoes should be comfortable, without high heels, clothing for the season. Women need a skirt and a headscarf to visit temples. During the trip, you must have an identity document. The time of visit and the order of excursions can be changed. The tour operator is not responsible for delays related to the traffic situation. The time in the program is preliminary. The tour in agreement with tourists can start and end earlier or later depending on weather conditions, the situation on the road and other factors.

11:00 – Arrival in Sortavala. Early lunch before departure for the excursion to Valaam. Lunch is independent, but our guide will show you the best places and listen to your recommendations.
12:00 – Departure to Valaam on a hovercraft
13:00 – Arrival to Valaam. Tour of the Central complex of the Valaam monastery. Free time for a walk
15:45 – Landing in a hovercraft. Departure from the island.
16:45 – Arrival in Sortavala. Boarding the bus. Transfers to Petrozavodsk or St. Petersburg
22:00 – End of the tour to Valaam. The bus will take you to the address you specified.
