Excursion to Konevets (2 days) has a more eventful program. During this time, you can understand the lifestyle in the monastery and see all the sights on the island. In 2019, the monastery was restored and in July of this year, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill consecrated the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary – the main temple of the Konevsky Monastery. A pilgrimage trip involves a one-two-three-day stay on the island. Accommodation is provided in the Pilgrim House in renovated comfortable rooms of various categories. The trip from the city is carried out by bus from the Ozerki metro. Also, you can get to Vladimirovskaya Bay on your own and join the group already at the pier.
The time of the water crossing to the island is 20-30 minutes by different means of transport (the Konevets motor ship, an air-cushion ship, the new comfortable catamaran Prince Vladimir). This direction, despite the fascination of travel, is rarely in demand among foreign tourists however, we are trying to rectify the situation, as the Konevets Monastery is very beautiful. It is possible to conduct excursions to Konevets in English individually, but most often we join foreign guests with Russian groups.
